Happy 10-year anniversary to the best review ever made. Beacuase is still regularly used by me.
I just found out there's a bootleg version of this game out there and that pissed me off so I'm here to show some love to the OG. This has been one of my favorite little games ever since it came out 10 years ago and I'm sorry you have to have your work ripped off without your permission.
I like the idea of slowly growing your army, but once you reach round 3 or 4 suddenly your enemy count explodes to a point where you can't possibly match it once you add up all the numbers. Maybe I'm missing something but it feels like the difficulty far outpaces your growth ability, unless you get lucky with your rolls. At the very least don't charge us coins to see what enemies are coming, that just feels artificially difficult.
It seems fun, but I'm getting frustrated because I feel like I have to constantly restart at a certain (rapidly approaching) point since it feels like I'm hitting an impassable barrier.
Just plain cute.
Just wanted to say that this is an amazing song. The 8-bit-esque synth blends in perfectly with the rest of the song, and the whole thing is so much fun to listen to. Great job.
Thanks a lot, I'm really glad you like it! :D
I like it, but it got a tad repetitive.
okies will keep this in mind, thank you!! :)
Very interesting combination of genres. I like the combination of not only old and new music, but old and new "sound". The clarity of the electronica goes surprisingly well with the muffled, phonographic sound of the swing.
I like this. Very atmospheric. I feel calm just looking at it.
All three of these are fantastic. Very colorful and expressive. You say you struggled but I think you're focusing only on flaws you see as the creator.
Thanks so much! I think you're probably right, but it's hard not to when you're studying such masterful work like Ghibli haha. ;)
These are always so mesmerizing.
Perfectly unremarkable
