So simple, yet so satisfying to play. The sound of the popcorn popping, the suspense as the lid slowly lifts up and the timer slows down, everything's just right. I can see this being really successful as a mobile game.

HEAT9 responds:

LOL thank you for your detailed feedback, I really liked the way you described it!
It might be a successful mobile app if it gets any exposure, and NG is the only site to have given me any chance so far. I will release the game independently on Android by tomorrow and iOS maybe a week or 2 later because Apple's review process takes about that long.

Not bad, could be better. This feels like the kind of game that should have an upgrade system. I found how to unlock the power mode, but it didn't bring much of an improvement to the game, especially since it doesn't last forever, and (as far as I know) you can only use it once.

OctoFlash responds:

alright, thank you!

Right now, it's easier for me to just spam the weak shot until the enemies are dead rather than wait for the gun to charge. I think a good fix for this would be to let the laser slice through multiple enemies when it's fully charged.

io3creations responds:

Actually, the third gun slices through multiple objects (i.e. body, head, hand). It's on my to do list to slice enemies (i.e. if body is sliced, ignore head) but will have to add some changes and didn't want to add more potential bugs. :)

Can't tell if this is supposed to be an elaborate April Fools joke or not. Interesting game, but it is too difficult for me to continue playing. I can tell it's actually meant to be played, as evidenced by the fact that you can actually beat levels, but you have to be so unbelievably precise with your actions that it's not worth trying to figure out every single level. Interesting concept though, but give us a bit of wiggle room on the timing.

Evil-Dog responds:

yeah I'll loosen the timing and angles a bit I think. Maybe in v1.03

I liked it. Controls were well, though the jumping felt a tad bit choppy at times. Perhaps it's my preference, but I felt it was better to not have the up arrow be the jump key for this game. The environments were fantastic - really felt like an adventurous game. Personally I didn't much care for the voice acting.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Thank you :) It's always a bit tricky to decide on what kind of control setup to give people and it usually ends up being all about personal preference. The ideal solution would be to make people assign their own keys, but with these kind of games, people just want to jump in and play, and not waste time with setting up their controls. I have to think about this some more and do some research. Thanks for mentioning it! And I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Haha, sorry about the voice acting! :D ...I personally like it though.

Very good, up until one particular level. Don't know the number, but there were three diagonal floating spikes at the very start of the screen. It was physically impossible for me to reach one of the platforms using the mushroom spring. I did it once through some technical miracle, but I died and could not do it again no matter how many times I tried.

BobieThe11th responds:

Did you play it with the yellow one? because for some reason i remember that's the only character that had a problem with passing some level...

Very fun, but the randomly-exploding-when-trying-to-jump joke got very annoying very quickly. I would advise cutting that out

DBuck-Eye responds:

Workin' on it! Thanks for the advice!

Perfectly unremarkable
